Clean metal surfaces. Use EWAC GOUGETRODE electrode to remove damaged metal. Preheat is recommended for alloy steel, cast iron and also maintain preheat temperature while welding. Maintain medium arc with electrode at an angle of 80°-90° from horizontal direction of travel.
